Sigurd Paulsen

Sigurd is an independent advisor and board member with experience from start-ups to business development of established companies and interests spanning from algorithms to hard-ware. Up to 2016, Sigurd was Investment Director in Statoil Technology Invest (Statoil’s Corporate Venture).
Between 1986 and 2008 Sigurd held several senior positions within Statoil´s oil trading, corporate strategy, M&A and investments in international private equity funds. 
Sigurd holds a MSc in Finance from University of St.Gallen, Switzerland and has studied American Business Law at University of California Los Angeles, USA .

Cecilie Sælen

Business Development Advisor

Cecilie has 15 years experience from delivery of consultancy services to operators in Norway; founder and 7 years as General Manager in Ocean Maxwell, and before this, 8 years as Operations Manager in Ross Offshore.  Experience as Framework Agreement responsible towards Statoil, Wintershall, Lundin, Hydro, ENI and Gassnova among others.

She also holds 5 years on- and offshore experience as Subsea Engineer in Hydro within subsea completion of wells, subsea control systems, commissioning, and subsea operations from vessels (diving and IMR).

Cecilie holds a Master of Management, BI (School of Management) and a MSc Process technology, Telemark University College and BSc Industrial Chemistry, Bergen University College.

Eirik Svangtun

Technical Advisor

Eirik has 40 years oil and gas industry experience. Eirik has held various managerial positions within Petroleum Engineering and Drilling & Well in Statoil including VP Drilling & Well Technology. Eirik has work experience from Norway, USA, Venezuela, United Kingdom and Azerbaijan. Eirik holds a Bsc in Petroleum Engineering from University of Stavanger.

Frank has more then 30 years managerial experience from the Oil & Gas industry, primarily oil service segment and oil country tubular goods providers in the capacity of operational, sales, business development, management and leadership roles. This comprised companies with origin and head offices both in Europe, Japan and United States.

Frank was part of Weatherford Norge AS for 15 years, of which 9 years as CEO & Country Manager for all Norwegian based activity. He has also held the role as Chairman for all entities in Norway. His other experience within Weatherford includes 3 years as Global Account Manager for Weatherford's business with Statoil worldwide.

Frank holds a Market Economist degree from Norwegian Business School and Innovation, Strategy and Leadership Executive program from INSEAD in France.

Frank has served as member of OLF/NOROG’s top management forum for supply industry for years. Throughout his carrier he has been a professional board executive. He is currently working as Independent Executive Management Advisor within various industries and companies.
