Repsol Foundation Representatives visit Centraflow

Repsol representatives Natalia Alvarez Liébana (Project Coordinator) and Manuel Bravo (adviser, mentor and original founder of the Entrepreneur Fund) visited Centraflow’s manufacturing facility in England and  their headquarters located in Stavanger Norway. These visits followed the Respol Foundation workshop, for start-ups, that was held in Madrid from June 13th to June 15th, that Centraflow attended. Centraflow was one of the lucky thirteen companies selected from over 350 companies to attend the workshop.
 
First stop was the  manufacturing facility where the Repsol representatives  were shown the various techniques used for manufacturing CE-BONDs utilising advanced composite materials, they also witnessed the quality   process that goes into manufacturing each tool. The manufacturing facility is currently completing the first CE-BOND prototypes which be ready for delivery on 22nd July.
 
The following day the Repsol representatives visited Centraflow’s HQ in Stavanger.  To welcome them, both Nader Behjat (CEO) and Grant Knight (CTO) were present, along with Frank S. Schieldrop (CCO). The guests were also introduced to Executive Assistant Aneley Lampugnani and Tri Nguyen (Centraflow Intern Design Engineer). Tri is currently running CFD simulations of various CE-Bond sizes. The group visited the Ullrigg Drilling & Well Centre, owned by IRIS (http://www.iris.no/research/ullrigg). Ullrigg is a full size onshore-style triple rig, located at Ullandhaug, in Stavanger, Norway. 
 
Afterwards, the group met Validé’s Commercial Director, Bjarte Magnussen. Validé, to date, has invested 3 Million NOK. in Centraflow through its Investment Fund I. Mr. Magnussen introduced the guests to Validé and discussed the reasons for supporting the investment. Both Repsol’s representatives and Centraflow’s team exchanged information, and the Repsol Rrepresentatives shared practical information regarding the ongoing process of selection for Repsol’s acceleration programme.
 
Centraflow was very pleased to have received the visit of Natalia Alvarez Liébana and Manuel Bravo. The Centraflow team is now ready for their next trip to Madrid, during which the Centraflow will give an investor pitch to Repsol’s senior management. The event, to be held on July 24th, will be the last step before the selection of the awarded projects. The teams selected to join Repsol Foundation´s acceleration programme for Entrepreneurs will receive economic, technological and legal support for 12 months, along with access to investors and business advise.
